アイルランド修学旅行レポート#2(7/10~国際キャリアコース)
Ireland Day 2
In the first hour, they took an English test to be divided into five different classes. In the second period, they were able to join the classes along with other international students from Germany, Russia, Romania, Italy, Spain and so on. The students had a full on immersive experience of what it is like to be in an international classroom with different cultures as well as experience break time and lunch time in the cafeteria, which looked like something out of an international high school movie.
Ireland Day 3
Today being a Saturday, the students had a full day of sightseeing. We started off the morning visiting Tramore Beach. As Ireland is known for having four seasons in one day, we were able to experience exactly that at the beach. It was cold and cloudy but the students were able to enjoy taking short strolls and some snacks such as carrot cake and milkshakes.
After an hour of taking in the view, we moved to Waterford, the oldest city in Ireland known for Vikings. There, we had lunch by the Quay before being given a guided tour of the city, ending with a visit to the Waterford Treasures Museum.
The final stop of the tour was Kilkenny, starting with the magnificent Kilkenny Castle. The students had free time to wander, shop and try Irish food at their leisure. (Most of them had taken a liking to the Taytos potato chips!)
All in all it was a wonderful day out and everyone had a great time exploring.
